Applied Kinesiology Aids in Diagnosis & Helps us Customize Care
Both Dr. Renner and Dr. Melikian are certified in Professional Applied Kinesiology (PAK). Applied Kinesiology was created by Dr. George Goodheart in 1964. It is a system that combines standard methods of diagnosis with manual muscle testing to evaluate structural, biochemical, neurologic, vascular, lymphatic, visceral, energetic, and mental aspects of health.
PAK aids in detecting imbalances and determining appropriate treatment through neurologic reflexes and biofeedback. In short, PAK helps us determine exactly what type of therapy is right for you! The doctors at Kinesis Healthcare will therefore include manual muscle testing as a part of your examination. And best of all, facilitating muscles ensures optimal joint stability and helps make chiropractic adjustments more effective and more permanent.
PAK draws upon and integrates the diagnositc and treatment skills of Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Biochemistry, Psychology, Dentistry, Naturopathy, and more. PAK is practiced by many types of doctors throughout the world.
